Reservation Information
- You must be 25 years old to sign a rental agreement and 21 years old with a valid driver's license to operate our vehicles.
- The minimum passenger age is 4 years old.
- Every passenger and driver must fill out a participant agreement before your check-in. This is sent in an email after booking.
- Michigan law requires a booster seat until the age of 8.
- You can bring your own booster seat, or we can provide you with one to rent the day of.
- Follow ALL traffic laws as you would with any vehicle on the road.
- Each machine has a maximum capacity of four people.
- Vehicles are only to be driven a half hour after sunrise and a half hour before sunset.
- Operate on all roads at 25 mph speed limit.
- UTV's are not allowed on all streets in the town of South Haven. We provide you with a map that details this. You can also review the local map on this page.
- UTV's are only to be driven on streets and not allowed on beaches.
- No one in your reservation may drive a vehicle if they have been convicted for a DUI/DWI or any similar infraction in the past 3 years. Failure to adhere is fraud and voids your Incident Coverage.
Insurance Policy
- Incident insurance is included in the cost of your rental. Your rental with Beachtown Buggies adds you as an additional insured to Beachtown Buggies commercial automobile policy. The commercial automobile policy includes certain auto liability coverage, which, generally, may pay for bodily injury or property damage caused by an accident during your rental. The auto liability coverage is subject to the actual terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits of liability of the policy. If you need any additional clarification on the insurance coverage, please call vQuip Insurance Agency at 704-496-9002. This policy provides coverage for Liability Coverages, Blanket Accident Coverage, and Auto Liability Coverages.
Damage Policy
- The renter has full responsibility for the care of the rental Side-By-Side ATV during the rental period. You will pay for any damage that occurs to the rental regardless of the circumstances under which such damage may occur.
- A damage deposit of $3,500, an authorization on a credit card, is taken at the time of check-in. This is a temporary hold that falls off your credit card.
Cancellation Policy
Inside 48 hours: If you must cancel your reservation for any reason and we are notified within 48 hours of your scheduled meet time, your reservation is 100% NON-REFUNDABLE / NON-TRANSFERABLE.
Outside 48 hours: If you must cancel your reservation for any reason and we are notified at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled meet time, we will refund your payment less 15%. Rescheduling a reservation must be done outside of 48 hours and is subject to availability and a rebooking fee.
